The Gifts

When I began saying Kaddish for my father, I did so because he believed that the recitation of the Kaddish would facilitate the redemption of his soul to Paradise. I considered it my final gift to my father. In reality, I became the recipient of many gifts. My story, A Daughter’s Final Gift, recounts my year of saying Kaddish and the challenges and gifts that I experienced in the process.
